The Academy Years
1987-1992
During my studies at the Art Academy of Trondheim I worked primarily with installations, print-making and photography, changing from an expressionistic to a more documentary and conceptual approach. In 1988 I stumbled upon the closed smelter factory Ila Smelteverk ( Ila Smelter factory ), and found there both locations and materials for most of my works during these years.
