The Populist, a comic story

Comic story, 5 pages, black and white. 2000
Published in Young Artist Association’s art magazine. A story about political, populist rhetoric in an art context;

The main character in the story (a slight resemblance of the artist himself) pretends to work as an art historian and guide at the old National Gallery in Oslo. He listens to whatever visitors are talking about and then interferes in their conversation to tell lies about the art collection’s origin and history. His versions of art history correspond with what he believes the visitors want to hear, he makes them reject the information given by scholars in the museums brochures and books
